تلقت الشبكة العربية لمعلومات حقوق الإنسان اليوم بانزعاج بالغ خبر قيام أجهزة الأمن الكويتية بإلقاء القبض على مواطنين مصريين مؤيدين لمطالب الدكتور محمد البرادعي   الخاصة بسبل تحول مصر إلى النهج الديمقراطي ، ورغم اعتراف مسئولي الحكومة الكويتية بإلقاء القبض على بعض المصريين هناك ، إلا أنها لم توضح عددهم أو أسباب القبض عليهم ، لتفتح الباب  واسعا حول التخمينات والاستنتاجات  ، حيث تواترت الأخبار عن القبض على 33مصريا ، وترحيل بعضهم للقاهرة بسبب “نوايا” عن إعلان عدد منهم إعلان تأييدهم ” للجمعية الوطنية للتغيير”.

وكانت الكويت قد ألقت القبض على ثلاثة مواطنين مصريين يوم أمس الأول  الخميس 8ابريل ، بعضهم من مقر عمله ، وقامت الأجهزة الأمنية بتفتيش منزل أحدهم على الأقل ومصادرة بعض “التيشرتات” التي تحمل صورة البرادعي ، ثم أعقبتها بالقبض على 30مصري أخر أثناء لقائهم العلني في أحد المطاعم يوم أمس الجمعة .

وقالت الشبكة العربية ” يجب على الكويت أن تعلن بوضوح أسباب اعتقال هؤلاء المصريين  ومصيرهم ، وأن تعلن عن أي مواد قانونية تبيح اعتقال أي شخص بناء على –نوايا-  لاسيما ولم ينسب لأي من المعتقلين أي سلوك مخالف للقانون”.

وأضافت الشبكة العربية ” لا ينبغي على  الحكومة الكويتية أن تهدر القانون وأن تضع سمعتها على المحك بهذا الإجراء ، ولا أقل من أن تصدر وزارة الداخلية الكويتية بيان واضح عن ملابسات هذا التصرف ضد مواطنين لم يخالفوا القانون”.

Kuwait Has To Clearly Declare Reasons for Arresting Egyptians Not Breaking The Law

The Arabic Network for Human rights information received the utterly disturbing news  of arresting Egyptians in Kuwait for supporting AlBaradie and advocating for democracy in Egypt. Although Kuwaiti officials have admitted arresting some Egyptians , they did not declare how many were arrested or the arrest reasons if any. This left the public to presumptions and doubts where news spread about arresting 33 Egyptians and deporting some of them because of their intentions to declare support of “The National Assembly for change”.

On 8/4/2010,Kuwaiti authorities have arrested 3 Egyptians while at work , searched the house of one of them and seized T-shirts having AlBaradie’s picture. Following, 30 others were arrested while meeting at a restaurant.

The Arabic Network said, ” Kuwait must announce the reasons for arresting those Egyptians and the consequences of such a measure. Kuwait must declare the legal reasons for arresting anyone just for their intentions especially that none of the arrested has practiced an illegal act”.

ANHRI added , ” The Kuwaiti government must not defy and waste the law and jeopardize its image by such a measure.  The least expected of Kuwait is that the Kuwaiti  interior ministry should  issue a clear statement  on this act against Egyptian citizens who did nothing illegal “
